Vietnam’s Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) is a consortium of industry leaders and stakeholders from the private travel and tourism sector. Current partners include Thien Minh Group, SunGroup, Vietnam Airlines, VinGroup, Saigon Tourist, Hanoi Tourist, Muong Thanh Group, and HG Holdings. TAB has entered into a partnership with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) to promote the sustainable development of tourism in the country. TAB is based in the capital of Ha Noi, and currently manages Vietnam’s official tourism website and its social media platforms on behalf of VNAT.
Help shape the future of tourism in Vietnam by leading digital marketing communications for the country’s official tourism website and social media platforms. Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board is a privately funded social enterprise, tasked by the government to develop and manage digital marketing platforms for inbound tourism to Vietnam. We are looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Director to lead our execution team in Hanoi.
The ideal person will have an extensive knowledge of travel and tourism in Vietnam, proven experience marketing on behalf of brand through digital platforms, online ads and social media, the ability to manage partnerships and collaborations, and a firm commitment to telling Vietnam’s story to travelers around the world through creative, professional campaigns. The chosen candidate will report directly to the board of directors, and will work full-time from TAB’s office in Hoan Kiem

- Working location: Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam
- Research and draft annual digital marketing strategy
- Manage digital marketing execution team to achieve KPIs
- Direct content creation and website development
- Direct digital ad campaigns and ad journeys from vietnam.travel
- Direct social media marketing from vietnam.travel
- Execute digital campaigns for Vietnam’s overseas markets
- Expand Vietnam’s digital platforms into new markets through localization
- Steer partnerships with international brands and influencers
- Fulfill benefits for TAB’s sponsors as listed in sponsor contracts
- Work closely with VNAT to get content and site changes approved
- Report to VNAT and TAB partners and TAB BOD quarterly on project goals
- Manage budget and internal accounting processes
- Degree in digital marketing, marketing, communications, or other relevant major
- Minimum of 5 years in marketing with a focus in digital marketing and experience in social media, online ads, and content marketing
- Experience in marketing for travel or hospitality brands for inbound tourists
- Extensive knowledge of Vietnam’s tourism products and destinations
- Fluent in English
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and brand awareness
- Ability to lead a team and optimize workload to achieve goals
- Ability to negotiate contracts and manage suppliers
