POSITION PURPOSE
We are looking for a talented and experienced assistant to help tell the stories of Hoi An and Quang Nam to the world with the Visit Quang Nam digital marketing project.
Your main job will be assisting the editor in administrative duties, liaising with local businesses, and preparing for video and photography shoots. The right candidate has proven experience in administrative work, is passionate about sustainable tourism, and has great people skills. He/she is also welcome to contribute creative ideas to the Visit Quang Nam platforms and help the team execute them.
This is a full-time position in Hoi An, starting May 1, 2023 or earlier.
DURATION
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting the editor in office management and accounting duties
- Staying connected with sponsors and partner businesses for collaboration projects
- Preparing logistics for video and photography shoots, accompanying the team on those shoots to make sure things run smoothly
- Occasionally assisting the social media specialist with capturing photos and videos for social platforms
- Executing the logistics of social media campaigns or contests
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1+ years’ experience working in an administrative role (ideally in the travel industry)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to solve problems and collaborate well
- Professional and result oriented
- Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Tourism, or related discipline
- Fluent Vietnamese, limited working English proficiency
- Being a Quang Nam local is a plus but not required
