POSITION PURPOSE

The Business Development Manager is in charge of developing business for the company global portfolio (including Hospitality, Cruises), generate more revenue and manage clients’ accounts for Southern properties. Sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals. The role includes developing new sales strategies, sales pitches, and business plans and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • In charge of customer from Corp & DMCs sources
  • Searching for customer information on various channels to build a system of potential customers
  • Actively contact potential customers on the self-searching list or from the hotel’s data system to introduce services and promotion programs
  • Send service information via mail / tele-sales for customers to refer to and answer customer questions when there is customer feedback email
  • Use sales skills to negotiate and persuade customers to use the hotel’s services
  • Carry out the procedures for signing a contract with the customer who agrees to use the service
  • Actively contact customers who are using the service to understand the situation, develop a good relationship with customers
  • Timely support, respond to customer requests and complaints
  • Contract performance (if needed)
  • Coordinate with related departments to ensure customer requirements
  • Supervise the contract implementation process, service quality so that customers receive the best value
  • Coordinate with related departments to quickly overcome problems arising in the process of using the service of customers
  • Coordinate with the hotel & Marketing department in planning and implementing incentive programs, customer gratitude; Introduce new products and services to reach and attract customers
  • Associate with other departments in the hotel to improve service quality to meet customer needs
  • Participate in training courses to improve qualifications when facilitated by the hotel.
  • Make periodic or arising work reports
  • Participate fully in department meetings, report feedback from customers for effective solutions
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in hospitality, business or related field
  • Three to five years of previous experience in sales, management, customer service or related field
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Fluent communication in person, on the phone, and in email
