POSITION PURPOSE
Use your writing, editing and publishing skills and passion for travel to help build a world-class sustainable travel platform for Quang Nam province. We are looking for an outstanding online editor to create articles and content for the new official tourism website of Hoi An and Quang Nam. The ideal candidate will be ready to work full-time in Hoi An from February 2022, and will have a professional portfolio showing solid writing skills and experience in online publishing.

Detailed information will be discussed during the interview.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with Editor in Chief to create and publish inspirational and informational travel pieces for Quang Nam
- Draft and edit online copy including web page copy, articles, event listings, 360-degree tours, press releases and newsletter copy in line with brand guidelines
- Coordinate with programmer to build new pages and sections on the website
- Optimise online articles and pages for Google Search following best practices
- Participate in creative direction and ideation for new campaigns and content
- Carry out research and interview subjects for feature stories
- Manage freelance writers as needed to create on-brand content
- Report regularly on progress of the project
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant major
- 4+ years’ experience in writing and editing, with a focus in online publishing
- Solid portfolio of writing work, ability to make engaging content for online audiences
- Strong research skills, ability to source reliable information, conduct interviews
- Knowledge of web and mobile technologies including WordPress and SEO
- Practical knowledge of rules of writing style, grammar and punctuation
- Having the ability to write in English and Vietnamese, fluent in English
