POSITION PURPOSE

General Information

Working location: EMM Hotel Sai Gon, 157 – 157A Pasteur, Ward 6, District 3, HCMC
Department: Front Office
Level: Team member
Report to: Front Office Manager
Type of Position: Full time
Working hours: per Duty Roster, 48 hours/ week

DURATION

RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete the procedures when guests arrive and leavey;
Deal with bookings by phone, email, letter, fax or face-to-face;
Daily room check with Housekeeping Department to make sure the room is in the best condition before guest arrives.
Tell guests about hotel facilities and services;
Allocate rooms and give the keys to guests.
Take and pass on messages product to guests or other department;
Deal with special request or Provide information about the surrounding area if guests need;
Deal with complaints or problems;
Prepare bills and take payments;
Ensure records are kept properly so that they can be easily retrieved for review when needed by relevant personnel;
Responsible for checking the state of stationery and equipment in the reception area and if found to be malfunctioning, the maintenance personnel should be informed to fix it;
Review working area such as lobby, counter, back office and storage, keep them clean and tidy;
Another assigned tasks by Front Office Manager;
Join in meeting department;

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Graduated Vocational school;
Communicate by English fluently;
Understanding SMILE PMS & POS;
Having team work spirit, being meticulous, careful and working under high pressure;
Be willing to work on public holiday or day off;
