Thien Minh Group (TMG) is proud that Victoria Hotels & Resorts, the Group’s unique Indochine-style hotels & resorts brand, has once again achieved the prestigious Travelife Gold Certification for sustainable accommodation, including Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa, Victoria Can Tho Resort, Victoria Chau Doc Hotel, Victoria Nui Sam Lodge, and Victoria Xiengthong Palace.
Travelife for Accommodation is an international sustainability certification body that certifies hotels of all sizes around the world. Travelife utilizes a comprehensive and robust set of requirements. Additionally, Travelife’s criteria are recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), which developed global standards for sustainability in travel and tourism. Through an independent Assurance Panel, GSTC ensures that recognized standards for certification programs are credible, transparent, impartial, and compliant with GSTC criteria for sustainable tourism.
Victoria Hotels & Resorts has continuously strived to maintain and enhance sustainable operational standards since receiving the Travelife Gold Certification in 2023. These efforts include upgrading facilities, prioritising the implementation of green solutions in daily operations, and fostering positive values for local communities. As a result of these ongoing efforts, Victoria Hotels & Resorts has once again been awarded this renowned certification for the next two years.
Accordingly, Victoria Hotels & Resorts has met over 160 requirements that encompass efficient environmental management, fair labour practices, support for the local community, child safeguarding, and continuous improvement based on guest feedback.
This achievement underscores the strong commitment of Victoria Hotels & Resorts, and of TMG as a whole, to responsible tourism development.
