TMG – Effective today, March 15, 2025, citizens from the following 12 countries are granted visa exemption for entry into Vietnam, allowing a temporary stay of 45 days.

The Vietnamese government has recently issued Resolution No. 44/NQ-CP on March 7, 2025, regarding visa exemptions for citizens of 12 countries entering Vietnam.
Accordingly, Vietnam will exempt visas for citizens of the following countries: the Federal Republic of Germany, the French Republic, the Republic of Italy, the Kingdom of Spain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Russian Federation, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway, and the Republic of Finland. This exemption allows a temporary stay of 45 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport type or purpose of entry, provided they fully meet the entry conditions stipulated by Vietnamese law.
The visa exemption policy for citizens of the aforementioned countries will be implemented from March 15, 2025, to March 14, 2028, and will be considered for extension in accordance with Vietnamese law.
