With the current outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Vietnam and beyond, Thien Minh Group is closely monitoring the situation following the instructions of the Governments. We have implemented important restrictions to reduce the spread of the virus and also to protect customers, employees and the community amid Covid-19. Ensuring the health and safety for everyone is always top of our mind.
Keep You Safe Within Our Experience:
- Placing medical masks at reception desks for guests to use at each hotel & restaurant
- Placing hand sanitisers and notices of Covid-19 preventive measures at reception desks of each hotel & restaurant
- Ensuring all housekeepers wear masks during their shifts
- At check-in, guests are visually screened for any of three symptoms: fever, cough, and shortness of breath
- Fully cooperating with authorities to take any requested actions, including taking guests’ temperature
We also have emergency plans in place should any guest or staff member show symptoms of Covid-19:
- Isolation room designated at each hotel
- Send the concerned person to First Aid for the preliminary check, and if needed, to the isolation room
- Contact quarantine center of the city/province
- Send individual to the closest specialized hospital
- Coordinate with quarantine center to sanitize guest rooms and related areas
Booking and Cancellation Policy
For any existing and new bookings with a check-in date from 15 March 2020 until further notice:
- Bookings can be amended to a later date until end of 2020, with no surcharge (upon availability)
- Bookings can be canceled and refunded with no charges up to 24 hours before arrival
- For new bookings reserved, full payment must be made before arrival

Recommendations of the Ministry of Health (MOH) should definitely be followed:
Before Working Time
- Check your temperature, monitor your health.
- Implement personal hygiene measures.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water whenever possible for at least 30 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
- Rinse mouth with salt water or mouthwash
- Follow a healthy eating plan
- Limit contact with pets and wild animals
- Prepare the necessary personal equipment during working time
- Ensure water is potable and sanitary. The use of common drinking cups is limited.
- Napkins, masks, gloves, and alcohol solutions (at least 60% alcohol) are always available.
- Clothes used exclusively for work, garbage bags (if needed) …
You need to stay at home and follow the below steps if you suspect you might have Covid -19 symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath:
- Wear a mask, self-isolated in a private, ventilated room, keeping a distance from other people at least 02 meters.
- Call the Department of Health or the Ministry of Health’s hotline (phone number 1900 3228 or 1900 9095) and go to the nearest health facility for health checks and treatment.
- Fully implement personal hygiene measures as recommended by the Ministry of Health. Dispose of the facemask, tissue after use in a covered trash can or in a bag and seal tightly.
- Use personal items such as mugs, drinks, bowls, chopsticks, reduce the use of public transport. Do not go to crowded places.
- Actively update the health test results for the employer
During Working Time
- Implement personal hygiene measures
- Wash your hands often with soap and water whenever possible for at least 30 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
- Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing, preferably with a cloth or handkerchief, or the front of your elbow.
- Put a tissue in a sealed bag and wash your hands with soap.
- Do not put your hands on eyes, nose, and mouth.
- No spitting
- Maintain healthy habits.
- Exercise between work shifts, be physically active.
- Eat, drink ripely and ensure a balanced diet.
- Do not share personal items such as glasses, water bottles, hand towels, etc.
- Report to the manager if you have one of the symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath at work
- There is no stigma and discrimination in the workplace.
Employees are at high risk of exposure and infection:
- Wear a mask properly according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
- Use suitable gloves to reduce unnecessary exposure.
- Limiting shaking hands, contacting customers in distances less than 2m.
- Wear protective clothing in case of contact with suspected cases (including masks, glasses, hats, gloves).
- Use online communications to reduce direct contact.
Employees travel to areas at risk of COVID-19 infection
- Comply with the disease prevention regulations of the local government.
- Wash your hands often, keep personal hygiene when coughing, sneezing.
- Stay at least 02 meters away from people who are coughing or sneezing.
When there is a symptom of fever or cough, shortness of breath while on business trips:
- Wear the mask.
- Minimize contact with people around.
- Notify the manager, call the hotline of the Department of Health or the Ministry of Health (phone number 1900 3228 or 1900 9095) and go to the nearest health center for timely advice and treatment.
After Working Time
- Clean and dispose of used paper towels, masks, used items in the designated bin and wash your hands with soap.
- Wash clothes and utensils after each shift.
- Self-monitor symptoms for 14 days and measure the temperature twice a day in case of returning from a business trip at a Covid-19 infection area.
If one of the symptoms of fever, cough, or dyspnea appears:
- Call the Department of Health or the Ministry of Health’s hotline (phone number 1900 3228 or 1900 9095) and go to the nearest health center for instructions and isolation as prescribed.
- Wear a mask.
- Minimize contact with people and maintaining a distance at least 02 meters
- Notify the manager and colleagues at the workplace for the health check immediately.
