Vietnam’s tourism will recover at a fast pace

Representing the pioneering leaders in tourism in Southeast Asia, the Singapore Tourism Board kicked off the Singaporeimagine Global Conversations to discuss on how to reshape global travel. In the first forum with the topic “Reimagine Experiences”, experts prepared for emergency of three new traveller types including wander must, mindful explorer and slow pacer.

In the Talkshow “Nguy – Co” (Risks-Chances) of S-world Multimedia and Vnexpress, Mr. Tran Trong Kien – Chairman of the National Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) & Chairman of Thien Minh Group (TMG) shared his perspective on how those tourist personas, the new travel trends may impact on Vietnam’s tourism industry, as well as how the suppliers could adapt their products and services post Covid-19. He also revealed the company’s strategic responses to the pandemic with a focus on the domestic market and strongly believed that Vietnam’s tourism would recover at a faster pace than that forecasted by the Government
