TMG – With off-road racing experiences on the sandy coast of Tam Tien Beach, catamaran sailing on the waters of Hoi An, and admiring majestic Halong Bay by seaplane or cruise ship named after the original ship that brought the very first visitors to this natural world heritage site, Thien Minh Group (TMG) has been taking guests on unique voyages throughout Vietnam.
In May 2024, Japanese freelance model Yosuke Hatakeyama had the opportunity to go on some of these amazing experiences in Vietnam with TMG.
1. Sail the waters of Cua Dai, Hoi An, in Quang Nam province on a catamaran

The sailing catamaran at Victoria Hoi An can carry up to 4 passengers. Since the catamaran uses wind power to smoothly sail on the sea instead of petrol, even first-time sailers will feel comfortable trying their hand at catamaran sailing at Victoria Hoi An.
2. Conquering the challenge of UTV off-road racing on the sandy coast of Tam Tien, Quang Nam
Located on Tam Tien Beach (Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province), 50km south of the center of Hoi An, TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An is a 5-star beach resort that fully meets the diverse needs and interests of guests. For those who love exercise and adventure, the UTV (utility task vehicle) off-road racing experience on the BLUE Beach Track is a must-do.
TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An’s UTV adventure racing activity is the first of its kind in Quang Nam. Visitors will enjoy the ultimate racing experience on a 4-seater UTV with a top speed of up to 100km/h, hugging the curves of the 1 km-long off-road course along the Tam Tien coast.
Navigating the straightaways and bends on the bumpy sandy terrain with the utility task vehicle rocking from side to side is a thrilling experience. Riders are fully equipped with helmets and seat belts during the experience and are accompanied by a professional driver who’ll provide tips and guidance. As shown on the “Morning Cafe with VTV3” program, off-road racing on the sand at TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An is an “adventurous experience only available at Nam Hoi An”.
In December 2024, TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An, a member of TMG, will be upgraded to ROBINSON Nam Hoi An to provide even better experiences to our guests, especially those who love sports and activities.
3. Admire the scenery of Halong Bay from a seaplane
To fully appreciate the otherworldly beauty of Halong Bay from a completely new perspective, Hai Au Airlines, a member of TMG, offers travelers bird’s-eye views from an altitude of 300m above the surface of the bay on a seaplane, able to take off and land on water.
During the 25-minute sightseeing flight, visitors can immerse themselves in the dreamy landscapes of the nearly 2,000 islands of Halong Bay including Tuan Chau Island, Calf’s Head Island, Cong Do Island, and Bo Hon Island. With its seaplane flights, Hai Au Aviation is showcasing a new and better way to witness the magnificent natural beauty of this UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site.
Throughout the flight, the Hai Au Aviation captain and co-pilot will enthrall guests with the stories behind each island group and landmark.
4. Explore Halong Bay on an Emeraude Classic cruise
Modeled after the French steamship Emeraude, the Emeraude Classic takes guests on an incredible cruise journey to experience Halong Bay in all its brilliant colors and storied history.
With an origin story stretching back to the 18th century, the Emeraude Classic is a throwback to the golden age of travel, when visitors first arrived in Halong Bay. The first international tourists came to explore Halong Bay on the original Emeraude, and today, the Emeraude Classic continues that journey of exploration.
