Welcome to the second edition of our Authentic Explorers! As I write this message, I have just returned from an incredible “Best of Vietnam” trip, visiting our properties across this beautiful country. It’s truly a challenge to pinpoint my favorite experiences, as each property offers a unique narrative that captures the authentic stories of the land—from its delicious cuisine to its rich cultural heritage.
These properties not only reflect the essence of their regions but also empower and inspire local communities, fostering pride and resilience. At TMG, we are proud to be the pioneers in these regions at the infancy of tourism and continue doing so at a much higher level.
This edition of Authentic Explorers is prepared just in time for our peak travel months, when Central Vietnam boasts its finest weather with blue & clear skies, lapping warm ocean waves, and the Mekong Delta transitions from the dry to the Green Season when we can see vast green rice paddies spreading as far as our eyes can see. In this edition, we have placed a strong focus on our authentic restaurants, where you can indulge in delightful local dishes—from Kaipen paired with Beer Lao in Alamea, Luang Prabang to Lau Mam in Spices, Can Tho. We extend our gratitude to the local and international diners who have voted and reviewed us, helping all 12 of our restaurants across Vietnam and Laos rank among the top 10 in their respective destinations.
We are thrilled to announce five exciting weekly tours starting in May 2025! While popular tours often involve domestic flights, these overland tours provide a unique opportunity to explore lesser-known local villages and historical sites that are seldom visited by typical tourists.
