For TMG, France, in particular, and the EU, generally, have been the key markets. Hence, that Mr. Tran Trong Kien participated in this event, celebrating 20 years of the Vietnam – France direct air route, the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, and the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and France, again reaffirmed a consistently strong message. That is, TMG always stands ready to welcome French tourists coming to Vietnam; through tourism activities, the two nations and peoples will get even closer to each other.
TMG now owns many Indochine-style products and services that win favor from generations of French tourists, typically the Victoria hotels & resorts located in beautiful vacation spots in tourist city. With five hotels and resorts members, including Victoria Xiengthong Palace (Luang Prabang, Laos), Victoria Hoi An, Victoria Can Tho, Victoria Chau Doc, and Victoria Nui Sam, TMG has captivated thousands of French tourists’ hearts, leaving unforgettable memories about splendid, peaceful and hospitable Vietnam.
Before 2019, France had always been in the top 10 inbound markets of Vietnam tourism. However, in the first five months of 2023, it showed no existence in the list. In that context, at the Paris event, Mr. Tran Trong Kien, together with aviation and tourism partners, performed a ceremony to launch and promote more cooperation in Vietnam – France tourism development with the expectation of opening a new chapter of partnership in tourism in particular and the two nations’ relationship overall.
That took place in the favorable context that Vietnam Airlines is currently operating the Vietnam – France air route with a frequency of 10 to 11 flights per week, wide-body Airbus A350 aircraft use. And 5-star service quality is in its vision.
