TMG – From off-road driving to enjoying afternoon tea on the beach, the stars of “A Date with Youth” enjoyed a host of fantastic experiences exclusive to the 5-star TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An resort.
In Episode 2 of the program “A Date with Youth” which airs on VTV3, 5 guest stars including journalist Lai Van Sam, diplomat Lai Ngoc Doan, and artists Hong Van, Hong Dao and Thanh Thuy continued on a series of exclusive experiences at pristine Tam Tien Beach located by the 5-star TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An beach resort, a member of Thien Minh Group (TMG).
Off-road UTVs offer thrills
The “Find the King and Queen of Speed ” challenge in Episode 2 of “A Date with Youth” took the stars to the off-road BLUE Beach Track, a 1km-long course built right into the natural, sandy coastal terrain. The vehicles were gasoline-powered UTVs, with a maximum speed of up to 100 km/h. This is the first adventure driving experience of its kind in Quang Nam, provided by TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An beach resort.
The team nicknamed Sam Nhi Hong consisted of journalist Lai Van Sam and artists Hong Van and Hong Dao. Artist Thanh Thuy and diplomat Lai Ngoc Doan formed the other team. To ensure everyone’s safety, expert guides from the resort accompanied the participants on their experience. The uneven terrain of the off-road track produced lots of challenging yet thrilling moments.
The skillful driving of artist Hong Dao quickly took her team straight to the finish line while the team of diplomat Lai Ngoc Doan and artist Thanh Thuy found themselves at odds during the race. When their UTV got bogged in the sand, artist Thanh Thuy opted to leave the track and vehicle and walk to the rendezvous point at Tam Tien fish market instead. However, diplomat Lai Ngoc Doan stayed behind to free the vehicle and much to his teammate’s surprise, ended up reaching the finish line before she did.
Off-road racing is an activity exclusive to TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An, challenging guests with a sense of adventure while also providing the opportunity to take in the scenery of one of Vietnam’s most pristine and beautiful beaches, Tam Tien Beach.
Exploring the Tam Tien fish market
For the “Rotate the Boat” challenge, the two teams had to maneuver two basket boats in the sea with the help of two local rowers. Team Sam Nhi Hong kept up their winning ways. Afterwards, the five cast members sat down for afternoon tea next to the Tam Tien fish market, a local destination only about 3 km from TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An.
The Tam Tien fish market is the largest wholesale seafood market in Quang Nam, only operating in the early morning hours from 4 or 5 am, as fishermen busily bring in fresh seafood to shore from their basket boats. The Tam Tien fish market has been in operation for more than 15 years and continues to be a popular tourist attraction in Tam Tien.
